David L. Stanton (b.1964) was born in Detroit, studied in Los Angeles, and lives and works in Detroit and New York. David's art was exhibited at the Eric Cohler interiors at 995 Fifth Avenue (The Stanhope), LA Municipal Art Gallery, New Salon, Lindhurst Gallery, Lawrence Street Gallery, State of the Art Gallery, Café Berlin, etc. David was published in the Detroit Free Press, Real Detroit, and Between the Lines. David's art is featured in over seventy private collections internationally. In 1990 and 1992, David was an artist in residence at Dorland Mountain Arts Colony, Temecula, California. In 1984, David was assistant to Alonzo Davis on The Olympic Mural Project in Los Angeles. David received his BFA from the University of Southern California |
